11日（16:00）の仮想通貨ビットコイン（BTC）は、前日比1.08%安の95.6万円に。
8日の急落後は、25日移動平均線と雲下限を足場にして徐々に下値を切り上げ、アセンディングトライアングル上抜けで急落前水準まで急騰したが、9200ドルから反落。一時8720ドルまで下落（16時時点）するなど全戻しとなった。
10月の低迷期にレジスタンスとして機能していた8400〜8600ドルが支持線になり得るが、これを下抜けた場合は低迷が長引く懸念がある。
BTC価格が急落した8日の水準と過熱感を示す4hRSIを比較すると状況が悪化（RSI：25%→40%）しており、下値余地を示唆している。
CMEのBTC先物で、再度の窓開けを指摘する声も上がっていた。

海外のアナリストWilly Woo（@woonomic）氏は、4日時点で8,600ドル（93.8万円）の窓埋めを予想。BTCの特性として、ボリュームプロファイル（価格帯別出来高）のギャップ、特にCMEのギャップを埋める傾向にあると指摘していたが、6日時点で窓埋めした。

Yes, pretty sure it’s in. I’m speaking in macro timelines, wicks on the weekly chart (like we saw 2 weeks ago) is not forecasted by my models. This is from proprietary indicators at @AdaptiveFund, and yes, they signaled 4 weeks ago.
Do you expect the $8600 gap to be filled?

イスタンブールは、「イーサリアム2.0（セレニティ）」に向けた最終段階とされ、現状のPoW（Proof of Work）からPoS（Proof of Stake）へコンセンサスアルゴリズム（合意・承認方法）Casperの移行にあたる極めて重要なフェーズとされる。
マイニング報酬アルゴリズムには一長一短があり、PoWが膨大な計算量によって決まるのに対し、PoWのデメリットを解消したPoSはコインの保有量や保有年数といった貢献度で決まる。中央集権化を避けるCasperは、PoWとPoSとのハイブリッド型になるとの見方がある。
イーサリアム財団は今年5月、3,000万ドル（約33億円）の資金をイーサリアムのプロジェクトに投入すると表明。エコシステムの資金基盤拡大にも取り組んでいるとした。
資金の使途として、優先順位を以下の3カテゴリに分類している。
- プロジェクトの研究・開発費用
- メインネットのサポート
- 開発者の育成
イーサリアム財団は当時、今後12ヶ月間に渡り、プロジェクトの研究・開発に対して1900万ドル（約21億円）を計上予定としていた。 この資金には、スケーリングなどの大型アップグレード「イーサリアム2.0」、プラズマなどのレイヤー2、その他の研究・開発などの開発に充てられる。
